Macro Photos

One of my good friends got me into taking macro photos of flowers - this has been such a fun pastime! I thought I would post a couple of my favorite/recent photos here.

I use a 5.3 Megapixel HP PhotoSmart 945 digital camera. It has a macro range of about 10cm - not incredible, but it does a decent job. Maybe I shouldn't even call these macro shots, but rather just close-ups. Anyhow, I really like the color and crispness that the camera captures. This blog probably doesn't do these photos justice - they really should be viewed full screen to see all the amazing detail. It's been fun to see things in greater detail than you would get just looking as you pass by. I love getting to take pictures of the beauty of God's creation!
